Vinny is eating baby food twice a day, once at breakfast and once at dinner when the rest of us eat. When I introduced solids I started with just breakfast but then he wanted to eat when we ate dinner even after I just BF so I started feeding him at dinner too. Lately he has been getting mad when we are eating lunch and he isn't eating too. I've tried BF right before I make the other boys lunch and he still wants to eat solids. I even tried to BF when I was eating but he didn't want to BF he wanted the baby food. He still eats just as much BM as before, he isn't skipping any feedings or anything so should I start giving him baby food 3 times a day now or is it too soon?

if he is not skipping any bfing times, i do not see the harm. If you are really concerned you can give him slushy breastmilk, just freeze it and slightly thaw and fork it to make it slushy.

At that age, it's perfectly fine for him to eat three times a day, esp if he's still taking as much BM. I would use that curiosity about eating and those social cues to my advantage. Let him eat with his brothers, and offer him something the others are eating. IMO.

Does he still get mad if he's in a high chair with toys? You could also start him on pieces of food, like a banana or something. We're doing pretty much baby led solids (also known as baby led weaning, but has nothing to do with weaning from the boob), so my DD doesn't get any baby food, she just mostly gets regular food. I've found it takes her longer and she doesn't really take a lot in, but she's content to play with a couple stalks of steamed broccoli or half a banana while we eat.

Sounds like either a growth spurt or she is adjusting to you being back to work and for her, that means being attached to you as much as possible. It will get better, no matter the cause. Hang in there!!!

He does get mad if he is in his high chair with toys. He wants food. I'm going to start feeding him 3 times a day then since it's not affecting his BF. I do give him some solids like these healthy sticks that he can chew and suck on but I have to watch him once he gets it thin enough to break a piece off. I'm going to try giving him a piece of banana and see what other types of food I can give him. I wanted to do baby led solids but DH didn't want to wait until 6 months to feed him any food so I caved in around 5 months. It's hard to tell him we shouldn't do something with Vinny like feed him before 6 months when the other two started baby food at 4 months and they are perfectly healthy.
