Seriously! Lately Ripley will nurse for a few seconds then pop off then right back on then off then on. Sometimes she pops off to look up at me and coo and smile for a few seconds then goes back to eating for a few seconds then repeat, Sometimes she cranes her neck to look in the other room (at nothing). I wouldn't mind so much but it ends up spraying milk all over the place! Anyway, if this type of behavior has happened with your LO, have you done anything?

Kolbie definitely hit that phase at about the same time. It was soo annoying!! I had to start finding a place with as few distractions as possible in order to have her full attention be on nursing. Luckily it did pass eventually.

BTW, DH has suggested Ripley as a possibility if/when we have another girl I love it!

Ava started doing that also, it's very annoying b/c then she nurses longer. She's been doing it for about 2wks now and lately I've been ending the nursing session for a little bit until she's ready to nurse again, and so far that has happened us.

That happens with us when she is distracted (DH or a cat walk into the room) or when she's teething. Also with a stuffy nose sometimes too.

Colin tends to do that more at the first feeding of the morning. It's like he's so excited to see me again, he has to "tell" me stuff - it's just too much to add eating to that list! lol

Ugh. Leah nurses like this too! Thankfully if she's tired she doesn't do it as bad. She likes to stretch my nipple out wen she's bobbing off and on (OUCH!) I'm pretty sure she's teething....
