Ok so a lightbulb went off in my head tonight that around the time I started the mini pill (not right away, but about 2-3 weeks after I started it) is when my milk supply began to decrease. I know it's not supposed to affect it but that it can. My question is, has this happened to anyone else before? If I stop taking it (and it is the cause of my low supply) will my milk supply automatically increase after I stop it?

I really really REALLY do not want to get pregnant again, we are soooo done having kids but nothing is permanent for us yet. TMI: We aren't the best at remembering (or wanting) to use condoms and an IUD is out of the question for me so this is why I settled on the pill.

Have you tried taking any herbs or power pumping? I would give those a try if anything to maybe help up your supply. I know when I got my IUD with DS2 my supply dropped for some reason but I power pumped and it cane right back. I'm not 100% sure about the pill

I think that the mini pill could very well be the reason for decrease in supply, especially if you study your timeline. It looks like there is a correlation. Some women do find that this happens.

Can you take a break from it and see if your supply increases?

it could be. I have a Mirena and saw no change with supply, but I am getting it out as i think i have been having other side effects from it (i have had it for almost 3 years). You can try power pumping or herbs/teas to build your supply, or just discontinue the pill for a month and see.
