I just ordered More Milk Plus
More Milk Plus | Motherlove Herbal Company
Has anyone used it? I am 17 weeks PP and my AF just returned and my supply has dipped. I pump at work, BF at home. I usually pump 15 oz a work day and came home with 9 today. So I need some encouragement too. I'm from Dec 2011 Playroom.

your supply dip will just be temporary with your period, rest assured. I have not had much luck with herbs, but did really well with the teas. Everyone is different, so try it and see if it works. I have heard good stuff about the More Milk Plus though!

I figure since it's so expensive I will just use it around my cycle. I haven't tried the teas yet. I've done fenugreek with milk thistle and eh... I don't think I took enough of it. I hate horse pills lol! I did lactation cookies, but I didn't know I was eating them right before my cycle so I don't have clear judgement on if they work or not. They taste good though!

Anyone know what's in it? I couldn't find an ingredient list.
Also anyone know how it's taken? The link doesn't tell much. I'm interested tho. Fenugreek isn't cheap and neither is the tea! Wondering if more milk plus is taken less or lasts longer.
I just ordered $30 worth of fenugreek and tea from gnc which last about 3 weeks.

I struggled to nurse my first 4, tried EVERYTHING! Fenugreek, oatmeal, Domperidone (Motillium). Finally with #5 my midwife told me about More Milk Plus, the special formulation for those of us with PCOS. I was able to nurse him for a year with no problems. It made a huge difference in my supply! Definitely worth the expense.

Finally found the info. Apparently all the info links aren't there god mobile viewing. Had to view on desk top.
I'm trying to figure out if it's cost beneficial to use this as opposed to fenugreek and tea.

Well it worked! I now pump 4.5 oz combined! Doodlebug, it's the same fenugreek stuff but its extracted differently. I put it under my tongue for as long as I can stand it then swish with 1 oz water. No eating before or after 15 minutes.

It's really concentrated compared to other supplements, that's why.

I wonder if using it long term would make you dependent on it? Or make it lose it's effect?

I tried this stuff and wow, what a horrible taste! It did work a little bit for me but I didn't take it too long to notice a really big difference and there's no way I'd be able to take this stuff 3x a day for the next 7 months til Bella can have regular milk!

If you put it under your tongue you don't taste it as much. And then swish with 1 oz water and voilla it's not so bad

I had to use it daily because it was the only way to maintain an adequate supply. Most women can just use it to boost supply as needed, but I have PCOS and that can interfere with the ability to produce adequate milk.

I e-mailed the company and asked how to determine if you need it long term, and if it is damaging to take it long term. The lady said to wean yourself off and not to stop right away. You start by taking out a dose and seeing if your supply decreases and if it does then obviously you can't miss doses. If it doesn't decrease you can take another dose out and see where you're at. She also said it's safe to take long term and won't make you dependent on it but it's really different for each individual on how their bodies respond.
