Zoe just made me bleed. She was just suckling and bit down so hard. How do you let them know not to do this?

ouch! so sorry! that sounds dreadfully awful. DD did not get teeth until she was past 1yo so i did not really have that issue. Is she biting because she is teething and it feels better? if she is actively nursing she cannot bite, but if she is just hanging on the boob or something, then that is when they can bite, so unlatching her when she is done eating can help.

Yea she had finished eating but was going to nap so I let her suckle. That is when she bit. When she has a bottle or sipple she tares them apart chewing on them.

Eek. My girl was biting me around three months [no teeth, thank goodness, but teething] and I would pull her off when she did it and go "ow! That hurt!" Very sternly and sadly. She stopped after a few times of that.
