So happy to be back here! It's been a few years! Had DS (baby #3) and he's giving me a run for my money with bf. After a slow start (tongue tie that had to be clipped twice) we're exclusively nursing (used bottles of expressed milk for week 2 only) so three going on four weeks of just me bfing him. Well, I'm worried about his weight gain so I've been using a scale to see how much he eats each feed. He nurses every 2-3 hours and takes 2 to 3 oz each time. His weight gain is good (born at 7 pd, 5 oz and up to 10 pd, 6 oz). Does this seem like a normal amount for eating to you? The rationale part of my brain thinks it is, but the slow weight gain at the start has shaken my confidence. Any words of wisdom would be most appreciated! Thank you!
