I have a 34 weeker and she wears out with breastfeeding. She is just too tired to nurse for more than 10 minutes and isnt very effective. Right now, I'm supplementing with pumped milk after I nurse her, but I'm struggling with nursing, feeding her a bottle, and then pumping every time she eats.
Can I do anything to help the process along so I'm not pumping and giving a bottle every time?
My DD was early but sooooo active and never even napped! LOL. she was 36 weeks though. Have you undressed her and made her cold? Can you supplement her with an SNS? How is her latch? why are they having you use a bottle to give her the pumped milk?
