I have one side that's inverted. DS and DD couldn't nurse on it. Tried nipple shields, tried pumping first, very little success. Had a miserable time with DD because I was a new Mom and was getting conflicting advice from the LCs coming into my hospital room. I ended up exclusively pumping with her and DS for a few months, then giving up and switching to formula. This is not what I want to do.
I hated it. I want to feed my babies. Not pump, then turn around and put it in a bottle, and feed them. I have GREAT supply.. even on the side I can't nurse effectively with.
Anybody dealth with this? My OB wants me to use the breast shells, but I've done that X2 pregnancies and not had much luck. This is the earliest I've ever used them, so I'm hoping it will help.. but if I have other options, that would be awesome.
The earlier I can fix this, the better off I'll be. Thanks in advance!
