I am ebf'ing an 8 month old. Should I get a period with mirena? I'm crampy and PMS feeling. Hoping this is a trick my body is playing on me!

Hard to say!

EBFing keeps some women in a state of infertility for awhile, but unfortunately the hormones in the Mirena actually disrupt that. But it also works by keeping the lining of the uterus thin to prevent implanation, so when/if you do start to get periods again they will be probably be lighter than before.

Nobody can say when it will happen though. Only time will tell!
