I have a 3 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old that I BF for over a year each. My breasts are now empty and my husband and I haven't agreed on if we will have another child or not. I want to have implants done at the end of this year, but I also want to be able to BF another child if we decide to have another. I have a friend who got implants in college and BF her baby about 5 years later..I'm thinking if we have another it will be within the next 2-3 years. Does anyone have any info on this. I am making an appointment to consult with the doc and I'm sure they will be able to tell me. I'm just wanted if any of you ladies have experience with BF and implants..or just implants..Thanks!

i think for the most part, YMMV on whether or not you can successfully nurse following the implants. One of my friends barely got any milk, but your friend was fine. I think it depends a lot on the surgeon and your body. Would you not be willing to wait a little longer? Getting pregnant is like free implants

My friends husband is a plastic surgeon.
There's no exact answer. You either can or can't bf after implants and you won't know until you have the baby.
My friend has had 2 boob jobs and she's pregnant now. As her husband has told her...when she has the baby is when she finds out if she can nurse.

I wouldn't have a boob job until after I knew I was done having kids. Personally.
That's just me though. I'd just go invest in some really nice bras => which I plan to do after I'm done nursing jade until I have another baby.
(if I have enough...)

Thanks ladies. I'll probably just wait until the end of next year. Hopefully by then my husband will finally decide for sure if we are going to have another baby or not..Thanks!!

Sorta late but i'm very successfully BF'ing with implants. Though like the ladies already mentioned i'd wait. After i'm done having kids and BF'ing, down the line i want to get mine "fixed" and well honestly i'm thinking of taking them out all together. They just aren't the same, they look okay but not like they did when i had 'em done, the changes to you body with childbirth and BF'ing obviously change things lol
