I think we only have soy creamer as an alternative, but I like how this line has cream, coffee creamers, and whip cream!! Its nice now that I know of something I cow milk/dairy and soy free that I can cook with! And whip cream? Yes please! Now I can have whip cream in my coffee YAY! (Of course I probably wont need any of this, but its soooooo nice to know I have options and alternatives!!)

We are so far good with nuts (Thank you God!), but I'm trying to stay away more from coconut as its high in saturated fats and I've read some bad things about it (and plam oil) and heart disease. I really don't care much for the coconut milk, but I do have coconut butter spread and it is sooo yummy! Very buttery and with a hint of coconut flavor to make things interesting.

most of the coconut milk stuff we buy is not the canned coconut milk, and is low in fat.

I didn't buy the canned either. I got the So Deliscous milk and it has 4gm of sat fat vs 3gm in cow milk and 0gm in my almond milk. My coconut butter speard (mmmmm its so good!!) has 7gm fat total and 5.5gm sat fat per serving and let me tell you, I like to slather on the butter it is honestly so good! LOL I think I found another butter substitute I can use and will when I'm out of the stuff I have now, but I still need to use up what I have and I'm sure my arteries are clogging as I ingest it. lol

ah. we have little to no fat in most everything we eat, so i am not too concerned, we are pretty much vegan at home so really not a lot of fat.

coconut fat is soooo good for you. The best saturated fat. Some people take coconut oil by the spoonful for the health benefits.
