When I was about 4 months pregnant I had a mole removed from my back. More skin around it has to be taken off because it came back 'questionable', so I go back in a few weeks. There are also like 5 more moles that need to be taken off from my back that the dermatologist didn't want to do when I was pregnant because of the lidocaine.

My question is, is there anything to worry about with lidocaine and breastfeeding?

I'm also nervous about this first 'mole' because it healed horribly the first time. It's a scar now in the EXACT shape and size that the mole was, and it hurts and itches STILL.

Are they doing the medication topically or do they inject it?

I have that stuff, not going to spell it cause well I can't, and I use it topically. The Dr that gave me the rx said the little amount I use will have no effect on breastfeeding.

Good luck.

It's injected numbing stuff.

I just hope the rest of them dont turn out like the 1st one! Horrible experience.

Thanks for the responses and well wishes
