Ok so give a little back story, I have a 6 mos old I nurse when home and pump during the day. I have to leave for training in just two weeks and I barely had ANY stash in the freezer. I had exactly enough for 15 feedings (And I'll be gone 6 days and 5 nights). I started having DH supplement 2 oz of breastmilk to 2 oz of formula during the daying to make my feedings stretch longer and so that I can go out of state in two weeks and have enough to feed him...

Ok so my 2yo turned off our freezer in the front room without us knowing it...my ENTIRE stash of breastmilk has thawed out. Completely. I threw it in the freezer, but since its been thawed its useless isn't it? NOW how I am supposed to go to NC when MONTHS of pumping has just been destroyed? I'm really crying over spilt milk. And now I don't know what to do. I don't want to strictly formula feed (heck I never wanted to give him ANY formula anyways!) but he won't eat formula at all unless its at LEAST half breastmilk. He eats so often I can't pump more than he eats...its taken me 6 months just to get these 15 feedings saved up.

OK after freaking out and double checking it...its still hard in the middle, but its squishy around the edges. So not completely thawed? Do I have to toss it? Or can I refreeze it?

I think you should be ok to refreeze if it was still frozen for the most part. OMG!

found this, looks like you are good to refreeze!!!
