I frequented this board OFTEN with my first, a little less with my second (not as much time!).

I'm expecting again and just found out our insurance will FULLY cover a new breast pump- yeah!!! I have a Medela Pump in Style, but have used it for over a year with both children, so I will be getting a new one and hey, it's free!!

I loved my medela, no problems. But, I was hoping for some input, experience with some of the other pumps on the list I can choose from. If there is a "better" pump, then I want to get that one.

Here's the list, thank you for your input!!

Medela Advanced Personal Double Breast Pump

Hygeia (HG) Enjoye LBI professional grade breast pump

Ameda Purely Yours breast pump

Medela Pump In Style Advance

Melodi Advanced breast pump

is it? it was so active when i was pumping. you can call a local breastfeeding group or something and ask them. I would lean towards the hygeia because it is professional grade.

I have the ameda purely yours ultra (same thing) and I love it! I know a few others with it and they really like theres to. I know a lot of women have been switching from medela to ameda.

Only down fall is you can only get it at babies r us. I know if you look around there might be some small shops that also sell it or your next best bet is online. This includes all the accessorys to. I got all my stuff from babies r us but they dont sell all the extra parts.

Anyways enough blabbing lol but I love my pump and would highly recomend it. My OB and the hospital I had him at also recommend the ameda.

Interesting! Luckily, one of the medical supply stores (online) that I must purchase through, does carry this pump.

Thank you for the advice!
