How do you offer support to breastfeeding mamas you know?

My brothers girlfriend is due any day now and plans to BF. All she hears from her family is how hard it is. I told her it is hard, but having a newborn isn't easy.

I think I've bothered all my friends at least once about breastfeeding lol The pediatrician that most people go to in my town is SUPER unsupportive of breastfeeding (hence why I changed pediatricians and got my super fantastic pedi) so many women stop just because she says they should. It is hard in the beginning, it's just too bad a lot of women won't push through that

I recommend the book "bestfeeding" which helped me a ton when trying to figure things out.

I've offered support to a friend, my cousin AND my sister! I was really surprised everyone was coming to me for advice and was happy to help

I can't say i find/found it to be hard though, honestly i find it easier to whip out a boob than to have to mess with formula and bottles and stuff
