My SIL had her baby Friday. She was giving bottles in the hospital(she had some nasty nurses that told her she was doing everything wrong) now they are home and she was hoping to BF. She says there is nothing there. I told her to latch him before she gives him any formula & I am hoping that was the correct information.

Was it? Is there anything she should do?!

her milk may not be in yet, it can take up to 5 days, even a bit longer if she was induced or scheduled c section. She needs an LC or the La Leche ASAP!!!!!!

I am sad to report that she gave up. She had put him to the breast a few times and said he did really well. I'm not sure why she quit
