Weston is 3.5 months old and still chokes while I am feeding him at least once a day. Sometimes it's enough to make him cry. It's not always in the morning, and I am pretty sure I don't have an over supply, it would have evened out by now right?

How long will this last for?

sounds more like an overactive letdown, not an oversupply. When you have a letdown, you can pull him off and let it squirt into a burp rag, then put him back on.

My ds did this for awhile...it wasn't even with my first letdown. It was usually him falling asleep at the breast when this would happen.

So the letdown deal never really worked for us. Just got better with age. Sorry I am not more help :/

He's only done this about once this past week, so I think it is going away. Might just be him learning how to breathe, swallow, smile at me, look at the dog... etc all at the same time LOL
