When we get taxes I am going to buy a pump so that my DH and I can go out for our only "afternoons out" for our b-days (beginning of March) and anniversary (late May). Possibly a dinner out or something... we don't get to go out much. My question is, how much can I pump without causing problems? I don't want to create an over supply, or run low while I am trying to get this little stash.
If I know I will be away I start pumping a day before. I would feed her and then pump. I never got a whole lot but all combined was enough for 2 feedings. I never had any issues with my supply changing with that.
I would just pump one side when she feeds on the opposite side. You won't ever
run out of milk, that is not how the body works. And just pumping here and there won't increase your supply. Enjoy your trip!
