in the next few months, i hope to night wean.
will my milk supply survive on 4-5 nursings a day? i know it's different for all women, but i'm curious if i should be concerned.

By about 6 months, my little girl had started sleeping through the night, and it was very rare for her to feed during the night after that time. I'd say my supply did take a bit of a hit (also combined with the fact that I was under a lot of stress, and couldn't pump enough at work), but I struggled through it, and after she was 12 months old, things evened out (she was eating more solids by then, anyway). We ended up BF until 29 months. So it is doable.

oh, yes, at this point it will be fine and totally adjust. fwiw, i am still lactating (and felt a letdown the other day!) and i have not nursed in almost 10 months!
