That's a good question. I don't know much about them. Are the ingredients fully disclosed on the packaging, or do they contain some kind of "proprietary blend" that is not fully disclosed? The thing about supplements is that they are not FDA approved, so if this is considered a supplement, or contains supplements, there probably isn't a lot of well-controlled information out there about use during breastfeeding.
And a quick look at the Body by Vi website...the disclaimer at the bottom says that, "ViSalus products are not evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration," and that "you should not take this product if you are pregnant or lactating."
I could not find the ingredients on line, if you can post them, please do. It has artificial sweeteners and is pushed as a diet drink to lose weight, so not sure this is the best option for gaining weight/maintaining weight. I would try maybe some smoothies at home, throw some peanut butter or almond butter in there and maybe some flax oil. Gain weight with healthy ingredients, not artificial.
