A page on my Facebook just posted a link for thing breastmilk can help with and one of them was an ear infection. DD has her first ear infection and looks as if she is having a reaction to the antibiotic.
It also said it can help eczema and diaper rash(I was told she also has eczema).
Has anyone ever used BM in these ways? If so, how'd you go about it? And did it work?
I haven't used it for ear infections, but I have used it for diaper rash, eczema, & eye infections. In the eye, I used a sterile eye dropper. For the skin, I just put it on directly. It did work...it cleared up eye infections overnight.

I have used it on dry skin. I was traveling to somewhere where the air was so different that my hands just kept breaking up. I tried every lotion I could get my hands on but nothing helped but repeated application of BM on the area for a little while Just remembered that I also used it when I had wounds on my nipples. It felt like it helped
Heh had to start a new paragraph because I just keep remembering more things. Have been lactating for few years. I and spouse used it on sore throads. He said it worked better than the lozenge he tried. It helped instantly and worked for a long time. I think it has soothing properties as well as killing off bacteria.
