Hello ladies.

I nursed my son for 13 months and then he self weaned. I got AF back at 9 months PP even though he was EBF. I had a regular cycle since then until he weaned in May. Since he weaned, I have not had an AF. Is this normal? Anyone else had this happen? I am currently on CD49 which is SUPER long for me. We would like to TTC soon so I would like my cycles to get straighted out.

Part of my concern is the fact that my mom went into menopause at 35 and her sister was 32. I am 31 and I am so scared this is menopause and I won't be able to have any more children. I talked to my OB and he prescribed Provera but I am hesitant to take it. I feel like adding chemicals in the mix isn't going to help my situation any. What would you do? Do you think this long cycle is from weaning? How long did it take your AF to even back out after nursing?

Thanks for any help and experiances!
