Is this a symptom of anything? I know let down always felt tingly with my other kids, maybe even a little sore (can't remember exactly) but my let down right now is seriously painful. Is that normal? I'm 1 month post partum and it HURTS to the point I just want to hold my breasts and wait for it to stop before I can do anything else. And my nipples have been kinda itchy

I had some painful letdowns in the beginning with each, but it usually calms down after a while.

Thanks <3 Glad to know it's normal. Maybe this stage just lasts longer with every kid or maybe it's because I have breastfed directly from the breast much since she's in NICU still.
