DD has started waking in the middle of the night to just suckle. She has done this 3 nights in a row. Goes on for about 30-60mins before I have had enough, but then she is inconsolable. It is at different times, but between 3 & 5. Any ideas?

How old is she? Could it be a growth spurt? Is she teething? Sick? Had some developmental leaps recently? Changes in routine or home?

All of those things can lead to night waking. Not much you can do than to just plug along and hope it passes.

She's 21 months, no changes in anything.

Just hoping this passes soon.

when she wakes up can you comfort her other than nursing her? Maybe it is her molars, has she gotten her last molars yet?

I'd venture a guess it's her 2 year molars. Poor bubs!

I didn't even think of those. She hasn't gotten them yet.
