I absolutely love how BFing can instantly calm DS. Tonight he was soooooo upset after having a super big blowout (yay for poop btw) and then his bath. Huge huge crocodile tears. Yet as soon as I put him on the breast... Calm. We have so many conversations simply through eye contact during his feedings. He looks up with such confusion and angst. I respond with comfort and love and watch as he lets go of it all and relaxes. He knows all is well while he's close with his momma.

Adorable! Yes it is the best. I have such an amazing bond with ds solely from breastfeeding. I hope our journey continues for a long long time.

Here too and I love it!

But I have to admit that I feel bad for DH sometimes. When he's trying everything he can think of to calm LO down and nothing works. He looks so crushed when I take the baby and calm him down in seconds.

Yeah I feel bad for Jake too. He wants so badly to comfort LO.

Yep, same here! Keelan pinched his finger this morning and he wanted to nurse. Instantly calm.

I wish it will always be this way until they grow up. The bonding takes away the stress I get from work.
