"Take Whole Cycle:
1 Prenatal Vitamin Daily
1 Baby Aspirin Daily
1 50 mg B6 Vitamin in the morning.
1 B-50 Complex in the evening

From Cycle Day 1 until Ovulation:
Two Vitex, 500mg Capsules in the morning
Two Vitex, 500mg Capsules in the evening
"

Can I take these while BFing a 14month old?? We are still nursing anywhere from every 1.5hrs to 4hrs during the day (on demand), and a gazillion times a night (co-sleeping).

I plan to start actively TTC in April-ish and want to get my body back on track. Right now, I have a really short LP of 6-7days and that would not work.

That up there was my secret miracle recipe for my boy. We have IF issues and it worked to conceive him within 2months of taking... after a horrible 2yrs of trying with 2 m/c's after my first son.

The aspirin is not safe while nursing. Not sure about the rest of it. I did some research when I found out I was pregnant & nursing, at the time DD was only night nursing, so I took the aspirin first thing in the morning. If your LO nurses all day, I wouldn't take the aspirin. I wish I could remember what I had read, but I just googled it, there is a thread somewhere here too from Sept/Oct from me about it.

Before taking anything I would check with LactMed and/or the Infant Risk hotline. Here's some info:

LactMed online - A peer-reviewed and fully referenced database of drugs to which breastfeeding mothers may be exposed. Among the data included are maternal and infant levels of drugs, possible effects on breastfed infants and on lactation, and alternate drugs to consider.
TOXNET

InfantRisk hotline - The InfantRisk Helpline provides answers to questions about the use of drugs during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please call us for information about the safety of using drugs, over-the-counter drugs, herbal products, chemicals, vaccines, and other substances.
(806)-352-2519

Contact an IBCLC - An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in your area can give you accurate professional medical advice regarding safe medications.
