Under wire or no under wire?

When I was pregnant with DD, I read the wire was bad. True?

I avoided them with my DD, but wear them now. I think as long as they fit properly, it isnt a problem. I never found nursing bras I loved that gave enough support when I was nursing DD, but this time I found some by the brand Anita on Amazon that work great. They have underwire, but I havent had any problems with it.

I have read that it can't cause any health problem. I didn't wear them because it was already uncomfortable and too constrictive, I couldn't breathe well.

I'm terrified to think about nursing bras right now. Pre-pregnancy I am a 40 DD, currently at 26 weeks, I'm now buying 42 H! When DS was born I was wearing a J, and had to special order even regular bras to wear to support me, nursing bras were a nightmare. Because of how large my chest gets, under wire unfortunately is a requirement for me. No under wire and my back pays the price for it. I'd rather deal with a bit more constriction around my sides and ribs and enjoy the bond of nursing DS, than to sit there miserable while she nurses because I'm in such pain from the excessive weight of boobs that large.

I have always used regular bars when I left the house. I lived in tank tops in the house. And I use underwire, with no issues.
