I think it may take a couple months for people to get back to their regular cycles. I was supplementing at 6 months so mine came back around then and happened to be quite regular esp since my LO was starting solids at that time, too.

Oh and I should also say that you might find you have a new "regular" cycle. I went from 27-28 days to 25 after baby.

It definitely can take a few months or more to get a regular cycle while breastfeeding.

My son is 11 months and I haven't had a period yet! I didn't think I breast fed THAT much, but he does co-sleep so during the night he can slug back a lot of milk!

I am also fairly skinny so maybe my body doesn't feel fuelled enough to support another pregnancy yet? We would maybe like to start trying for another pretty soon, but it is no easy charting task without the period as my starting point. I am enjoying life without it though

I didnt get my AF until 16 months Postpartum. It was a nice break! I did feel ovulation cramps at 14 months though so I think I was ovulating with no flow.
