I had to take Q to the dr today to make sure he is not getting thrush from my boobie yeast infection (so gross) . I mentioned his teething symptoms to the dr. She said he does not have thrush but he is def. teething How do you do it when your little ones have teeth? Does it hurt so badly or do you not feel it? I want to go as long as possible and am not ready to stop but do not understand how it works with teeth without great amounts of pain.....

Dylan has been teething since he was 2 months old (thats what our old crazy dr has told me) He is now really close to cutting teeth and I notice that he chomps down on all his toys but he has yet to do this with me. Im not really sure why but very greatful lol. Im hoping when he does get teeth that he keeps from biting me!!!!

The teeth themselves don't get in the way (ds has 8), but sometimes when they are teething, they will bite occasionally and that's not fun.

Kaitlyn only has bottom teeth, and the bottom ones don't bite when they nurse (ideally) because the tongue covers them. She's nipped me a few times but not very hard. I think because the nipples is soft not hard like their toys, they don't bite down hard on it because it offers no resistance and therefore probably isn't fun for them.

Baylor has been teething a lot lately, and hadn't even tried to bite me. She will gnaw on anything else she puts in her mouth, but thankfully, not my nipples! lol

My dd has a full mouth of teeth and never bites, in the begining whenever she bit I removed her from my breast and waited a few minutes before relatching--this worked for me.

lily has her two bottom and her two top just cut the gums this week so she has been biting me a little more than usual. it hurts but i kno its usually an accident, like when she is position properly and then tries to latch.

it really isnt that bad and when i yelp in pain she gets the idea and has a look on her face almost saying "im sorry, i didnt mean to"

The few times Ryan did bite down I say his name quite loud and very stern and he looks all sad and I think he may only have bitten like 3 times or so and hasn't since!

Annika will only chomp down when she is through nursing. If she chomps me she is not allowed to nurse. If she is toying with me I will take the breast away from her til she decides to get down to business.
