I was just wondering what is safe to take while bf for colds/sinus stuff. My boys both have colds and have apparently given it to me now! I know that when ds was first born they told me once sudafed or benadryl, the plain kinds. I was just wondering if there is anything else that works better???? Thanks ladies!

Sinus problems are tricky b/c generally people are aiming to dry their sinuses up - which anythign that will do tht will also have the same effect on yoru milk ducts (milk ducts & sinuses are similar & affected similarly).

However, fenugreek works as a natural secretion thinner - so it will work and has the added benefit of increasing milk supply Itll drain your sinuses, but wont dry them out.

OTC - tylenol sinus Ive heard. Kellymom.com has a list as well

Thats a hard one. Sufafed can decrease your supply. Maybe you could try a nasal spra or use some vicks vapor rub. I jave alot of sinus problems and always advpid sudafed because I do not want my supply to decrease.
