I have always been a lucky mama with Rebecca, she doesnt have extra crying time during a spurt just extra sleepy time. I think the 3 month one is being really tough on her though, she is just NOT a happy camper when she is awake. It's almost like she doesnt WANT to nurse, but she needs to. She'll nurse, be happy sitting in her bouncy seat or in the boppy for about 5 minutes, want to nurse again etc. I feel bad for the poor little girl. It's been about 2 days so far. She is sleeping an extra lot again too. She slept from 6:30 last evening til 4:00 this morning then wanted to eat from 4 til 5:30. Unfortunately then I had to get up at 6, but it's not her fault, she was sleeping again then.

I HAVE to go shopping today, so I asked my mom to come over and keep her company (I know she is going to cry the whole time I'm gone) so that I dont have to bring a crying baby to the store, I dont have a sling so nursing and shopping would be hard. Hopefully my mom doesnt mind too much, I warned her lol. At least I know she is growing

Yep, sounds like youre dealing with a growth spurt! I dont know why those 3 month ones are so darn hard!

I would say you could give your mom a grocery list & maybe let HER do the shopping lol, but you probably are in need of a break lol. Luckily they dont last long.

Hope it ends soon. At least she's sleeping a lot.

Awww, poor girl, the growth spurts are tough. I used to do the same with DD on her bad days, just so I could make it through the store and actually get everything on my list before sprinting out with a crying baby. lol I hope she is through it soon!

I just feel bad about this one, not because of the nursing, but because she is not a happy girl when she is awake. She's pouty and whiny. Even my 3 year old Sydney feels bad because usually she is the one that makes Becca laugh. Sydney doesnt understand though either. I'm sure in a few days she'll be smiley again.. then on to teeth
