What's the most thoughtful thing anyone has done for you when you've been going through a difficult time?

Well, we are still fresh from everything.. It's only been about 24 hours. But by far, so far anyways, the most kind thing someone has done is my close group of friends in my PR on JM. They all rallied together to raise some money for my family. It turned out to be very useful on all of the driving I am doing to my moms and to run errands for her, prescription copays I am picking up for her, food, water, pictures to print out for the viewing tonight, etc. It has really come in handy. Their unconditional support and love has been amazing. I don't know that anyone can beat that. I love my JM girls.

I am so pleased that you've found so much support on JM and that your friends have been able to help you out in practical ways as well as with emotional support and friendship. Sometimes 'virtual' friendships are the ones that become the strongest x

How are you coping with things now, honey? x

ITA with the bolded! I appreciate my online friends so much. So what about you? What's the most thoughtful thing anyone has done for you when you've been going through a difficult time?

I know what you mean, my online friends have been there for me so much when people I know IRL haven't known what to say or felt uncomfortable or not really cared.

I think for me it was when I had my last miscarriage before our eldest daughter was brn. I'm usually the person at work who brings in flowers, cakes and chocolates for people to cheer them up and don't really expect anything back but one of my colleagues surprised me with a beautiful bunch of flowers. It was just totally unexpected and took me by surprise.

Flowers always cheer me up too. It's a simple way of letting someone know you're thinking of them without having to try to find the words.
