Is there anything you do to mark anniversaries of your losses? Do you mark them in a certain way or just try to carry on as usual until the day is over?

I haven't hit Ethan's one year angelversary yet, though I might do a balloon release. When his EDD came upon us, we went out to dinner and celebrated his short but meaningful life.

I usually take the day off from work. We then just see what my mood is. Sometimes, I don't want to go anywhere because the thought of seeing little ones is too hard. Other times, I don't want to sit home and imagine the sounds of the kids playing and/or crying.

Rebecca, a balloon release sounds beautiful - I think that's a wonderful idea. If you decide to do it, I hope you will share it with us afterwards x x

Augie, I'm kind of the same. Sometimes I back out of what we plan because I just want to stay at home and hide away.

There's a nearby park that we often go to to remember. There's a particular bench by the lake where the ducks all swim around. It's a really quiet spot, and even when we are there just to feed the ducks it makes me remember.
