I've visited one grandfather's grave site once.

My dad was cremated and his remains taken back to Nebraska with my step mom. I won't get a chance.

My daughter's place at the memorial garden is really just a memorial place at the moment. I go there to put up decorations for holidays and to have a place to celebrate her little life. She was cremated and I have been unable to have her interred as of yet.

*hugs* ladies. Since my babies were miscarriages, I don't have anywhere to go for them. For Jenn and Sherry (friends) I used to go regularly...it's been years since I've been though. For my brother, he was cremated and his urn is in my mom's bedroom.

Augie, what about planting a garden or tree for your babies? Friend of mine has a garden and statue in it for her 4 miscarriages.

I've thought about that. But then I think about how I hate our house and would love to move. I'd hate to have to leave such an intimate place behind, you know? (Of course, I also know that it'll be many years before we can sell and move.)

Yes thats very true. I've read of people getting a stepping stone they engrave with whatever they want to say about their baby(s). That way they it is portable. You can always plant new gardens and leave the one you made behind to brighten someone elses day
