Does anyone else out there find it hard at this time of year when you've lost someone so close to you?
Christmas has always been the favorite time of year loved by everyone in my family, and right now I'm having a hard time wanting to get into the holiday spirit because of the absence of my parents & my sister & her husband. I'm trying to stay positive and cheerful for my kids, but it's especially tearing me up inside knowing that my neices & nephews are about to celebrate their 3rd Christmas without their parents. I can see everyday how heartbreaking it is for them and as hard as my husband & I try, we know it's not the same not having them around.
Just wondering if anyone else out there is having a bit of a hard time right now getting into the full Christmas spirit?
PS...I still love Christmas time - it's just a little more somber.
