Is witchcraft a religion? Short answer, no/yes/it depends (). That is not to say that some witches do not view their craft as their religion. Overall, witchcraft is a practice, and any belief system can incorporate the magic of witchcraft in their path.
Witchcraft is utilizing the energies that exist in the physical world and the other planes of existence (and their many realms). Plants, rocks, animals, oils etc... have a certain "vibrational medicine" that can be utilized by a witch for an intended purpose. Energy exists both in the physical and Otherworlds. When using these energies, they are being pulled both from the physical and the Otherworlds (the high up the planes, the more concentrated the energy).
