Okay, this post might make me sound horrible, but just read the whole thing!
All right, so as some of you might already know from the other thread, my dad arrived yesterday and stayed the night. Before he came, I rolled the dice just once to see how his visit would go. I got a 16, a pleasant journey. So, I was relieved. All through the day, it was accurate. I had a great time. But then by around 8, my dad just really started getting on my case about EVERYTHING. He can be a very irritating, irrational, nagging person, and he's just hard to keep happy. Always has been. So, by late that evening, I was pretty upset, and I wondered what new thing the dice would say, but I couldn't find the time or quiet to roll.
Well, I kept asking the Goddess for strength. I didn't want to let my dad get to me. But then it turned out that the game WASN'T yesterday, and so everyone (my brother and sister and dad) were going to be back over here until late to watch it. Yesterday was hectic enough with me trying to keep Caleb entertained and out of everyone's way---clear up until I went to bed with Caleb around 9:15. Anyway, this morning when my dad was taking my little sister practice driving, DH wanted to roll the dice for me (he's showing more interest!

), and I asked him how the rest of my dad's visit would go. DH rolled a 14---help from a new friend. I was like, "That doesn't make sense. Roll again." He got a 14 again. So, later that day, I rolled for the same question. 14.
I was all like

LoL
Wellllllll..... COMEPLETLY out of the blue at 4:30 today, my dad says he feels like he got a stomach bug---and he LEFT! He left the entire feast with us that he brought with him (pork roast) without wanting to take any with him, and now I get to eat dinner with my mom and sister!

I am just sooooo relieved that I don't have to deal with all the commotion tonight. HUGE sigh of relief!
So, does anyone else think that the "Help from a new friend" was our little friendly stomach bug?

I just can't help but think that this is what the dice were talking about, and that the Divine came to my rescue! Of course, I do hope that my dad feels better soon. He said the fresh air on the drive home would probably make him feel better, and just being back in his comfort zone.
But MAN! Tonight is so relaxing now.
