I think this is already a pretty general rule, but I think it should be in the guidelines to only ask one question at a time.
I know that I asked for multiple questions in order to gain as much experience as possible, but from now on, one at a time, please! I just don't want to confuse people by my reading threads, where I asked for people to ask more than one question.
Other than that, I like everything you wrote in our PM!
Maybe put a mini FAQ in there for the people who are new to requesting? I know the first time I participated I asked a yes/no question from Oracle cards and had no idea that's not how it works! Also maybe a quick run down of all the terms (Oracle vs Tarot and types of decks) so that if more than one deck is offered people know which may be best suited to their question (if any).
on another board, the reader only has the question post open on 1 day for a certain amount of time. i think that made it easier for her, so she didnt get bogged down with a billion questions. also to stop ppl from popping in to get free readings she made it a requirement that the questioner be an active member of the board.
ETA: that was supposed to say to stop ppl from popping in just to get free readings lol. that way ppl were not just getting readings with out contributing to the flow of the board, and to save her from feeling taken advantage of

All great ideas, ladies! I think that was a great point to bring up the "Yes/No" questions, Ashley! It should probably be mentioned in the guidelines somewhere how most divining devices (besides a pendulum, right?) don't work based around strictly yes or no questions (such as "Am I pregnant?"). Questions should be a little generalized, in search for insight rather than a definite answer.
