Today sucks. Yesterday sucked. My emotions are all over the place and it's been all rainy and dreary and I just feel BLAH.

I'm feeling very icky today. Very... yucky energy, like I've been "tainted" what with all talking to FIL last night.

So today I'm going to clean and burn some incense, look at happy nature pictures and do a lot of affirmations

The girls have a new pool they're played in the past two days, right now it just got done storming... I swear the lightning was hitting the back yard!

I'm doing my cleaning today (in between JM and FB time, of course) because I missed doing it yesterday due to the kidlets' hip hop performances...

I'm thinking of just staying in jammies or comfey clothes all day and meandering through my list...if I get it all done, great...if not, eh it'll still be there next week! lol

I finally got to see the moon last night, but by the time the clouds dissipated enough, she was high in the sky and seemed of pretty much normal size to me...She was very bright though...I think it was on Yahoo that they posted pics of the supermoon from around the world and it looked like the biggest, bestest pics were when she had risen completely just above the horizon... and she was pale orange, and gorgeous...I still spent some time soaking up some moon rays though...after everyone else went to bed...(don't tell anyone, but I think that's my favorite thing right now...spending time outside, in the quiet night, BY MYSELF and listening....:shh:

I'm really wanting to get some crystals now though...I felt a little disappointed that I didn't have anything that I wanted to charge in the moonlight last night...but my birthday is coming up, so I think I might have to start my list...

I totally missed the moon last night.

My mind is all over the place so I forget a lot anymore. Been getting up at 3a a lot this week so today when I slept til 430a I still felt drained. In fact, I felt more drained today then the last 4.

There is a store in the area that sells Pagan-y things that I want to visit this week so that will be fun.

Hi ladies! I have been MIA a lot but I think that happens when you are cooking a baby. I did not get to see the moon last night because of clouds I went to Fertile Ground Gathering this weekend and it was lovely I didn't participate in the main ritual this year because it was raining and my feet were already swollen from all of the walking. There was another lady there 7 months pregnant like me and she did a fertility dance in the rain at the ritual and everyone said it was lovely and divine. I did get to be in nature with other Pagans so that was fun. And I did a spiritsong workshop with Kellianna which was really cool! I love singing and I am learning how to incorporate singing and chanting into my practice.

I have so many things in my head that I want to put down in my BoS, but I don't have a BoS yet DH was going to buy me a nice leather bound journal for mother's day.

Went to my DH's counseling appt expecting to just sit and wait for him but she invited my son and I in then proceeded to have hubby and son leave and talk with me.
Realizing that I needed help too and couldnt get any due to lack of money and insurance...she put me on her schedule(and a co-workers for if she's gone). So I now am seeing a counselor, same one as Dans.
So now we can both get the help we need to survive this hard time in our lives. Seperate therapies but I wouldnt be surprised if at some point we got together in a session or two sometime down the line.

Then we went and the three of us gave blood for a genetic study. Its being conducted to try and find the genetic link(or lack thereof) in people who have Inflammatory Bowel Diseases like Crohns or Ulcerative Colitis. This study is specific to children under 18 because its become so prevalent among them. Connor is 8 and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in December. His dr is one of the researchers from across the country doing this study. He's been on a board of drs from all the major hospital schools and such like UCLA, John Hopkins,etc to research this issue and now they are getting prepped and ready to do a genetic study...break down our genes to our DNA and look for that link.

We are gonna be three of a few thousand they hope to get for this study.

Ive actually never felt so helpful after walking out of there LOL. It was like just feeling really good about doing something that could be so important down the line.

Today is just a dull day full of tending to kids and letting Dan sleep late cuz he hasnt been able to sleep well...not feeling good.

That is awesome that you are able to talk to someone and get some help through this rough time in your lives. And you are helping people too! Even though you are having a tough time, you are truly blessed in your family.

I felt the need to draw an oracle for you and I pulled The Horse King from my Wisdom of the Hidden Realms deck. He appears to lend you a hand to go the distance and lets you know that through synchronicity some person will come to help and you are not meant to do this alone. Remain open to those who are sent to aid you. And he wants to know why you think you can do everything yourself. Keeping control of everything around you is exhausting and you may lose an opportunity if you insist on being in control of everything. Let go and let him help

Today I will be going and staying the night with my sister with the girls, they are so excited!

Dyed my hair last night... Walmart doesn't have the color I usually dye my hair so had to go to Sally's Beauty supply. Now it's back to dark purple, yay!! And tomorrow I get my hair cut from my fav person!!!

Ok, so back from my sisters and just chilled with dh and all last night.

My friend who does my hair totally ignored my txts yesterday so I never got my hair done. Thought that was very rude! Now time to find a new hair stylist... ppl just don't seem to understand how to cut my hair except for her so this is going to suck finding someone

I hope your hair lady gets in contact with you. Im feeling the same way about the lady who was supposed to do our handfasting on the 27th. She wanted to meet up with us beforehand but hasnt returned my emails or anything so Im a bit ticked right now.

My gut feels wrenched. Its a very odd sensation, not one Ive had before but its there. Jenn's death(see siggy) has hit me hard and I didnt even know her in person or anything. I guess cuz in some ways I can visualize the situation since my own is heading in the same way...only it will be father gone instead of mother. Just cant imagine that poor daddy having to try and explain why mommy isnt coming home and then raising those boys(especially the newborn) alone. I hope he has tons of family close by to help. I know they have tons of family and friends(online and off) that are there for support but I mean physically there cuz he'll need it just like she would had he died.

ACK....Im just out of it a bit. Dans sleeping so much lately and then this and so many things just hitting me at once today.

Do you think an overweight, out of shape lady could do beginning belly dance classes ok? Im thinking of doing them if the price is right and Dans cool with it(classes are at boys get ready for bed time).
