I am going to be gong back to school for nutrition, after that I eventually want to add herbology into the mix. In my state the only way to be able to practice in herbs legally is if you are with a acupuncture place.
I'd like my focus to be on holistic medication, but I don't know yet.
If money were no object and I could do whatever I wanted I would take the 120 credits of Music I have and do 240 more to get a second degree in Music - or mix it a little with Ancient History and Archaeology and get a second degree in combined Arts/Humanities. THEN I would do a Master's in Education for career purposes. I hope this year to get in some time writing and actually finish my book about angels. Who knows, maybe someday I'll get an honorary degree in Angelology.
I signed up for the nursing program last week. Its not something I really want to do but they dont offer much at my college. What I would love to really do is be a midwife. I guess I can do the nursing n go on to get my masters in it then go from there and get my masters in Midwifery. I dont know yet. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do. I just signed up to have something to work towards so im not just taking classes to take classes.
I am about to go back for psychology. once i get my bachelers i want to get my masters in library science. we will see.
i was going to go back for nursing but have decided that i can not (and will not ) play the political crap game in the hospitals. so that is a no go. there a re a few other reasons too but i wont go into all of that.
when i first started college it was for english/psychology. im back to that. i would love to work in a library, publishing co or book something. or research. ( which i may have job in january for research.)
If I could go back to school again... I wouldn't! I seriously hate school! Love learning, but hate school. Magically having a degree would be nice though! I'd have that business degree I was going for when I was in school.
I never actually graduated college, but when I was in college, I initially majored in art, then changed my major to business after about two years.
