Do we have a religious duty to take care of our bodies? Are our bodies our temple? Do you consider yourself attached to your body?
I think it depends on each individual and their own beliefs. I can answer for myself, that yes, I do have a religious duty to take care of my body. I do feel it is "my temple" in this life and I am very much so attached to it until I die.
Oh I think our bodies are the vessel where our spirit/energy resides so we have a duty to tend to it.
If its weak then I think our spirit is as well and vice versa.
Just curious, but how would you explain those who are very ill in body but have very strong spirits/will to live?
I don't think I have a religious duty per say, at least nothing in my religion says anything specific that I know of. To live one must take are of their body to the best of their abilities, I see my body as more of a shell, I'm attached to it now lol, but once I am gone it wont matter.
