How did you choose your user name?
What is your religious path?

1. I was trying to find something that had spiritual meaning to me that reflected Lakshmi and honoring her in a small way as well as something that reflected peace to me.
So Lady is a term used to address the Goddess and Lotus is a beautiful flower that is associated many things including Lakshmi and it always makes me feel peaceful when I see it.

2. I would call myself a Spiritually Eclectic Witch. Most of my path consists of Wiccan, Hindu, and basic Pagan ideas as well as some Witchcraft.
I also consider myself a student because I dont feel fully done with my learning and, frankly, I hope I never do feel done learning.

If money and time were not an object, what would you do just for yourself, It can be either spiritual, or decadent, or wild and crazy...whatever...

Id go to Salem, MA during Halloweentime. Id soak in the atmosphere and explore and do some shopping in their occulty shops LOL.

Thats my conservative side talking. If I went all out then Id spend 6 mths exploring India or Scotland.

Oh Id get stranded in Scotland or Ireland with my friend Stacey(cuz she's got 3 boys the same age as mine so she needs a break too LOL) and my friend Tara(cuz we've been internet friends for years but never met in real life).

I should say someone spiritual but there isnt anyone I can think of that Id want to meet and hang with at this moment.

If I went sentimental Id chose Dans late mother simply to understand him better.

If someone gave you $10, $100, $1000, and $10,000 how would you spend it?

Im very much the person who doesnt spend on herself if there are other needs first and more important so Ill answer this with what Id get for family and myself LOL.

1. (them)Id use the $10 for groceries needed before the first of the month.
(me)Id buy a new book.

2. (them)The $100 would go to boots and gloves for the boys and a new pair of jeans for Dan...or two pairs.
(me)Id dye and perm my hair.

3. (them)Id fix our new car that had a part break last weekend LOL cuz I want my car back!!!
(me)Id fix the car LOL.

4. (them) Id take the $10,000 and let my husband get the tranny on his precious car fixed so he can drive it again plus get my kids a bunch of new clothes.
(me) Id buy a bunch of new clothes that actually fit me well, Id buy winter gloves and slippers. Id also pay off a few months worth of car payments so it wasnt hanging over our heads....wouldnt pay it off but it would give us a breathing space and thats what I need.

If you had to choose careers for your children, what would you pick? (or, what do their personalities tell you they'd be?)

Well, based on personality and likes Id have to say...

Connor will be in the general contracting/electricity for homes field. Building houses or doing the electrical work for new houses.

Avery will be in Hollywood trying to catch his break.

Devinn will either be military or a teacher.

If you could completely change one thing with/about the world, what would it be?

With the chaos that reigns with 3 boys, how to you find time to do any spiritual work or find peace within?

What do you do to find peace within?

What's the most effective ritual you've ever done?

What originally got you interested in Hinduism?

Are you planning any rituals or spells in the near future?

Do you have a favorite stone or crystal?

Id change the respect factor. It seems there is a great lack of it anymore.

I rarely do LOL. When I find the time its after 8p when they are in bed.

I try and stop and breathe/meditate for a minute here or there throughout the day.

A Samhain ritual...first one I ever did.

Meeting a Hindu family while on my mission back in '94-'96. Their home was just full of warm fuzziness and the spirit was great there you could tell. I didnt give it too much thought til I was on my journey in 2007-2008 when I saw something and it reminded me of them and their home and I felt this absolute drive to learn more.

  1. Not specificially but I hope to do something Wednesday.
I love Ametrines and clear Quartz. Ametrines calm me and Quartz just seem to bring me strength and all around ability to achieve my desires when I use them.

I went to New Jersey...spanish speaking(Im rusty but fluent LOL).

I was assigned to the Morristown(northern part of the state) mission but was sent as the only spanish speaking sister missionary when they opened up another mission in the southern part of the state(Cherry Hill Mission).

Several unique experiences...whenever my first companion and I would walk along the streets the construction dudes would whistle at us and stuff and we'd turn around and introduce ourselves and they would assume we were nuns cuz of being in dresses with names tags that said Sister(Hermana in spanish) and would totally wig out thinking they were going to hell for propositioning us LOL. They started spurting out apologies left and right LOL.

When I was in my first area there was another city, Patterson, that had a riot and some Elders and Sisters came to our area for a while. A new missionary to Patterson(first day there) got beat up really badly and a sister was robbed at knifepoint. It was a scary area for them so we were glad they came to our area for a while.

Lots of cool experiences there. Ill tell you more if you want to know more or have more specific questions. I was in Jersey City/Union City, New Brunswick, Freehold, and Vineland.

In Vineland, got to see some cranberry bogs. In Jersey City rode my first city bus and met my first transsexual. LOL
