Anyone know where I could find an earthy/pagan/non-santa advent calendar? I'm specifically looking for something nice that we can use year after year. Something that I can put tiny things inside, like boxes or cubbies.

I found this. I saw some other neat ones, but they were $130! I'm wondering if I could decorate this somehow or if I should just leave it as is:

I didnt see it say $130 just $30. Did I miss something in the details?

You could try making something similar to that from parts at a craft store.

I like that tree! It's cute! I would even leave it as-is. Then again, I like simple.

I also love some of the crafty ideas on pintrest.

I lovvve that wooden tree! It's so cute and simple, but so neat and different!

Pinterest is dangerous for me! I could spend hours on there.

I'm pretty excited that I found it. Now to think of cute things to put inside.

Oh I found something else that's cool at Target! It's a white ceramic stag. Wouldn't that be cool with some mini pagan ornaments hanging off???

Both of those are awesome, I would love to create my own Stag figurine out of clay, and hang mini ornaments on it like you mentioned. Rich colors or paints would be pretty.
