This is the time of year when I refresh my spiritual altar. I have been writing up some stuff about Imbolc and consecrating a space for an altar on my blog if anyone is interested:

Imbolc « The Magical Muse

Consecration « The Magical Muse

And will be adding the finished altar when done. I plan on going to the local garden centre either tomorrow or Saturday to get two new candles for it, and of course my new wand will be placed on it, as well as a surprise gift from the lovely Ashleigh which I am overwhelmed to be getting and various pieces that I have in rotation. And my merkaba of course!! I still have flowery spring-like pot pourri which I bought last year so some more of that will be incorporated as well as some of my shells.
For some time, I've also been wanting to get a chalice for my altar, and I feel this is the time. Not sure when or where I will find it yet, and as Nikki has found this week, I *may* not be able to take a decent picture until I have that last piece, but we shall see. Maybe that's something I can add at Easter/Ostara.

I know I also wrote an article here on refreshing your altar some time ago but JM search is being a pain so don't know if I can find it.

Anyone here doing anything else?

Having to go back through reams of pages of SL to try and find the old article because search isn't working. This could take some time!!

Forgot to say in post 1 - according to archaeoastronomy.com, the actual cross-quarter point of Imbolc occurs at 3:57pm on Sunday Feb 3rd. Just in case you needed to know!!

Havent planned anything in particular as we will just be getting paid and getting bills tended to and all that.

Might buy something special to make for dinner on Saturday night tho.

Sorry ladies, I give up. It's not in the sort of area I expected it to be and I'm not trawling through the whole lot. Fed up of search not working.

That's a nice idea Hillarie. I wish I had more motivation to cook nice things.
