I am not dreading any birthday, except the ones I don't get to celebrate.
My 17th birthday is memorable because it was the last birthday I had both my parents with me to celebrate. My mom died about 3.5 months before my 18th birthday.
My 20th and 22nd birthdays were memorable. My 20th, Robbie was a month old and still going strong in the NICU. My 22nd DH and I were dating.
I'm not really dreading any birthday but I guess if I had to choose it would be my 30th coming up in October. I think a lot of people are hoping and pushing for DH to throw me a surprise party (like BIL did for SIL). I'm not so much on birthdays...
My 12th was memorable because it was the first real party I got to have. Friends, cake, music and a sleepover. It was great fun!!
I kinda feared turning 40 because I was worried Dan wouldnt be here when I hit it(it was last November). But he was and he stuck to his usual do nothing(which I admit bummed me out cuz its a milestone birthday).
Other than that I dont have a real fear or worry about my upcoming birthdays.
*Turning 30 will rock! I loved turning 30...such an mind opening experience for me!*
