im looking forward to Yule, but I have not planned anything yet. I have a dinner to plan for tomorrow (ugh) then I will start on Yule.
We celebrate xmas too here. not the religious aspect but the whole santa thing. im not looking forward to that. the twins and I are making crafts for presents and we started a bit late. I hope we are done in time. money is my issue with xmas this year. im sick of the commercialism. this year seems worse to me. I cant put my finger on it really other than I have more knowledge? idk
I feel like Yule is even more special to me because of my feelings for the xmas holiday. In the past i have thought about getting Yule gifts but have never implemented it. i am now very happy that i have not done this yet. maybe in the future i might include homemade gifts on Yule but not this year. I hope this make sense. im not dogging anyone out or another persons religion. this is just how I feel right now.
If I do anything Yule specific, it will be spur of the moment, and private...I'm kind of blah on the holidays this year...still haven't even put up the tree for the family yet, much less anything else...
I did buy myself Wild Wood Tarot cards and a book called Avalon Within that has caught my eye on several different occasions...finally got it, (them) and am savoring the moment when I can delve into both of them...
Happy Yule to you Ladies...
A very special THANK YOU to Bokkechick for my gorgeous new siggy!
