In order for my son to complete a part of his handbook, he needs to "Invite a religious leader or teacher from your place of worship to your den meeting." He said to me "Mom, you are the leader, so you're gonna speak, right?" Um...I am scared to death of public speaking....plus....the meetings are held in a church, lol. So..any ideas what to tell these 6 and 7 year olds about being Wiccan, without making their parents hate me?

Well you can explain that there are many different religions in the world and that there are many different views of God and your religion sees God as both male and female, what you call the God and Goddess. You honour the God and Goddess by honouring nature, and you honour nature by celebrating the seasons.

Also, I dont know if you've looked into it or not, but have you heard of SpiralScouts? Its a Pagan/Earth-based scouting program for kids. www.spiralscouts.org.
