Was it because of the Tuxedo?

I use to give Lubbock a lot of crap growing up but comparing to other places we're very open minded. I was able to take my then girlfriend to both our Jr and Sr. prom, thanks to our short lived Gay Stright alliance. The vists from Westboro Baptist Church was a real eye opener for Lubbock. Don't know what that church is? Look it up, you'll want to spit at your monitor.

I feel so bad for her and her GF. The same thing would happen here.

that's really really REALLY sh*tty.... I hope that her court case has a good outcome!

That's a really rotten thing to happen, talk about spoiling the end of your high school experience I had a friend who wanted to take her girlfriend to the prom several years ago and wasn't allowed. I think in the end they teamed up with some male friends who had been banned from attending too and swapped 'dates'. But no one should even have to find a way around it.
