Now Sam's not taking 99.99999% of my energy and I've stopped being so lame I want to really get things moving here again! Let's get this chat thread busy!

So what is everyone doing on the second day of the year then?

So far I've spent the morning messing about with the girls who have discovered the fun of bouncing on an old inflatable mattress, and this afternoon I am taking the kids and my DH to a local cafe to treat everyone to hot chocolate!

Thanks Shanise! He has already grown up so much since his first photos, he is growing so fast. Good luck for tomorrow - I hope practice goes well!! You must tell us how it goes!

Emma, feel like swapping weather? It's freezing here! Ooh, I hope we get snow this week, I'm kind of missing it!

I am catching up on work all day and Sam just wants to BF all day so I am going to probaby be stuck at my laptop typing one handed from now until midnight

No snow yet but it sounds like some may be on the way - I'll send it over when it arrives, Emma

I am currently in Angelica's room where the girls are playing on the inflatable mattress again which has become their favourite hobby!

You can have some of our snow We get, on average, 65" a year.. eeek. It's not too bad out now, most already melted from our previous snow storm.

I'm just relaxing today, thankfully.

I hope you had a nice relaxing day!

I don't know what happened to our alleged snow, no sign of it now

Sam has been poorly the last couple of days but seems much better today. I have to register his birth tomorrow!

We get lots of snow here too .... we are about 2.5hrs south of Albany so maybe not as much snow as 65" but close lol.

Just wondering but have new passwords been set for the locked parts of our board?

We arent doing too much right now, Nikki is just getting back to work this week from having a mandetory 2wks off because the plant was closed down. Josh's therapists are coming again on regular schedule after the holiday so we are just busy with that but not really doing too much other stuff. Hopefully once the bills are caught up again we can do some fun stuff.

You're only a few hours away from me then! Where abouts are you located? (if you don't mind to share).

I love the holidays, but so happy they're over and things are calm!

Hello everyone! I'm new here and new to the idea of having a second child. My wife and I decided a couple of weeks ago that it was something that we really do want and will no longer let our "circumstances" prevent us from having.

bellybeans4 - good on you just because you don't have a penis in your relationship, doesn't mean you shouldn't have kiddos

HPnerd - good luck with your first cycle - I hope it all happens fast for you!!!!

I miss the excitement of TTC, but I guess now that my tubes are tied TTC isn't going to be in my future at all, so I need to live vocariously through all of you

Misty - how is Sam doing?

Erika -

Jess - I bet you enjoyed having Nikki off work for two weeks

we're all good here.. well, kind of.. Emersyn seems to have picked up the bug Gaby had earlier in the week, and had vomitting & diarrhoea today - but neither to the extent that alarm bells were ringing... if it IS going to get worse, I hope it holds out until Monday, so I don't need to go to the after hours doctor (which equals waiting for hours to be seen)... after a couple of hot days we've got cooler weather, which is nice

I keep wondering about the passwords, too.
Misty is busy with gorgeous Sam! My goodness, I wish I could kiss his little cheeks!

I am up...I'm on my grave shift.
Avelina won't go to sleep.
And I am seriously convinced aliens will take over soon.

I'm so glad I am done TTC, family complete.. Been busy with kids and now a major snow storm is coming and everything closes here so School should start Monday but with maybe 6-8" of snow I doubt it plus FIL is going to have a procedure Wed. Life is busy and Tammy is being so pushy.
