Do you think society is more grossed out, more anti gays (the boys) than lesbians?

I do. For the most part anyway. Most straight men are disgusted by gay men but laugh about being turned on by lesbians. But then again I've only heard them say that when they think the lesbians are "hot" otherwise they are also disgusted.

Very sad

I completely agree with everything you said. It's quite sad. I don't find it gross, at all. I have had lesbian friends who also, thought it was gross...I was baffled. And they didn't think it was gross because they were girls, and anti penis...but gross because it is two boys having sex. It's so sad, and quite hypocritical if you're bi or lesbian, and think this way But you are entitled to your opinion...it just doesn't it make sense.

Yes, I do think that - and it upsets me.... why should two women being together be more acceptable than two men together? Obviously to ME both are acceptable, both are wonderful.... But those who don't feel that way - why is two women just slightly less inappropriate?

I think because men, are usually the ones who are strongly against it? And something about men being with me, makes me grossed out? Where as thinking of 2 chicks touching each others boobs, and just the simple act of kissing, is an arousal?
It's very hypocritical. And maddening!

I don't find homosexuality gross, male or female.
But it's usually those macho men who are so against it...makes me wonder why it bothers them that much...just why?

I'm not even sure how to start this.. LOL
My mom and I used to watch Degrassi (teen show) on tv and it had a gay character.
My stepdad would literally gag if said gay character kissed another male, but would drool when two girls kissed.
I just wanted to kick him in the face. Really.
That aside, at the same time my SO and I are good friends with a guy who happens to be gay. Very. Flamingly so. LOL We adore him so I say it lovingly. My SO is comfortable with being friends with this guy, and my SO is also pretty flamboyant himself and has jokingly kissed another guy before. I picked a winner, aside from the fact that he hates the idea of me with another girl. But that's a different issue unrelated to this topic. So anyways, when my family caught wind of my SO kissing another guy (jokingly) they thought it was gross, he's gay, xyz and that there's no way a guy can jokingly kiss another guy....but girls can do it..
I can't help but roll my eyes at it all.
Apparently Girl on girl is good, Guy on guy is horrifying and bad. Why, I do not know.
It makes me sad. *sigh*
